The studio has won numerous design awards, most recently Morimoto was nominated for a James beard Award, and won two awards in the ICAP cookbook awards. Books were also placed in the Special Trade category of the 2006 and 2007 New York Book Show for their design of Hoops: Four Decades of the Pro Game (Abrams) and The Sweet Life (Little, Brown).
Work has appeared are AIGA, Art Directors Club of New York, D&AD (UK), Design Week (UK), Food & Wine, ID Magazine, Interior Design, The Type Directors Club, Print Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, Monocle, The New York Times, Nylon, PDN Magazine, Rolling Stone, Tokion, and Vanity Fair, and numerous other design publications.
Nine (Gallery) identity was published in Letterhead and Logo Design 9, published by Rockport, Fall 2005.
